The initiative to form the Insurance Industry Scientific Coordination Council (IISCC) is chosen as the Best Idea by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology (MSRT) and it is now recorded in the Best Ideas Booklet of MSRT.

On the occasion of Research Week (December 14-18) and with the purpose of establishing an effective liaison between university, society, and the industry, Research Deputy of MSRT held an event entitled “Modern Models and Strategies for the Collaboration between University and the Society and Industry”. Following its Call for the Best Idea, 120 innovative ideas were received by the event secretary and IRC’s idea of forming IISCC was chosen as the best, according to PRIAO.

In IRC’s proposal, IISCC is introduced as the consultancy arm of the Innovation and Society-Industry Liaison Office established at IRC.

It must be noted that IISCC is basically formed with the purpose of developing and maintaining an effecting relationship between IRC and the insurance industry, creating academic synergy, avoiding any parallel academic operations, streamlining knowledge management, opening up the possibility of creating research consortia, and employing collective views of the insurance industry by IRC.
