According to PRIAO report, during the spring assemblies held by the Council, the two following research projects were approved:

1.    Preliminary Study of International Experiences Regarding Cyber Risks and Insurances;
2.    Identification and Classification of Various Corporate Risks and the Products of the Startups and Technological Teams of the Innovative and Entrepreneurial Companies.

These research projects will be directed by the Modern Insurance Technologies Department of IRC.

The other two research projects anticipated to be led by the General Studies of Insurance Department are as follows:

1.    Formulating the Financial Reporting and Information Disclosure in Iran Insurance Industry with Respect to Bylaw 88;
2.    Designing the Inter-Insurance Market Structure and Insurance Risks in Iran Insurance Industry.

The responsibilities of the Research Council of IRC comprises of planning and determining the scientific and research objectives of IRC, reviewing, evaluating and decision-making on the development of research projects, and formulating the outcomes of research activities.

Members of the Research Council are the Director General of IRC who acts as the Chairman of the Council, the Research Deputy who acts as the Council Secretary, the directors of Research Departments and professionals from the insurance industry and academic members from across globe. The research council assembly is held every month.
