In this meeting, Dr. Asgari, the CEO of IRC, presented a review of IRC’s recent move in cooperating with domestic institutes including University of Qum. He also referred to the latest meetings of IRC delegates at UAE with six active institutes working in the fields of insurance, takaful, and Islamic finance.
Dr. Asgari also pointed to the upcoming takaful advanced training course intended for the insurance industry managers that would be conducted by Kings World Careers Academy at Dubai, UAE.
In the second half of the meeting, the three research projects on ‘insurance law’, ‘financial condition of insurance companies’, and ‘actuary for marine risks’ were examined and reviewed by the members of the Council. The projects will be commenced as soon as the required amendments will be made.
In the Council meeting, the research assistants and academic and technical advisors of each project were also chosen.
