“SharePoint and its Applications in the Insurance Industry”
The SharePoint platform creates a safe environment for saving, organizing, sharing, and accessing data by various services. Almost all the insurance business owners including insurers, brokers, agents, and loss adjustors can utilize SharePoint for both qualitatively and quantitatively enhancing their businesses.

SharePoint is an effective cooperation platform for businesses in a global scale that its most significant features are facilitating cooperation, document management, sharing documents, and internet services. According to Fortune 500, in 2020, 85% of the U.S. companies that had the highest total revenue were using SharePoint platforms, according to Public Relations Office, IRC.

Given the significate of this argument, the book entitled “SharePoint and its Applications in the Insurance Industry” was authored by Dr. Mahnaz Manteghipour, Head of Data Mining Taskforce, IRC, and Mr. Vahid Ghorbani, Advisor to the Taskforce. Published by IRC Publication and aimed at facilitating inter- and intra- organizational communications, the book presents a step by step training for the implementation of SharePoint and its applications in the insurance industry.

The present book comprises of six chapters. It initially explains the terms used across the book in a table entitled “Lexicon Guide”. The titles of the chapters of the book are as follows: “Introduction to SharePoint and its Application in the Insurance Industry”, “Implementation of SharePoint Framework”, “SharePoint Designer Software”, “Implementation of Office Automation Using SharePoint”, “Creating View”, and “Designing Workflow Steps”.
