Hosted by the Insurance Research Center, the discussions between the CEO of IICO and Head of IRC mainly revolved around the issuance of insurance-linked securities (ILS).

In this meeting, Dr. Leyli Niakan, Research Deputy of IRC, Mr. Ali Hatamabadi, Logistics Deputy of IRC, and Dr. Farzan Khamesian, Director of General Insurance Research Group of IRC participated and presented their views.

Some of the agreements reached at the meeting are as follows: conducting required studies in relation to the issuance of ILS in the insurance industry, obtaining the views of the experts of the Jurisprudence Committee of Securities and Exchange Organization (SEO), and the prospect of founding a financing company for the support of ILS deals.
