These priorities are classified in 10 major themes including ‘smart and effective supervision’, ‘digital disruption and exploiting modern instruments and technologies’, ‘innovation in insurance services and products’, ‘corporate governance in insurance firms’, ‘reinsurance market development’, ‘risk-based underwriting’, ‘foreign investment in the insurance industry’, ‘sharing capacities between the insurance industry and capital market’, ‘Islamic financial instruments and establishment of takaful operators’, and ‘increasing insurance penetration rate’.
