IRC Signed MOU with the University of Science and Culture
On Sunday, July 23, 2024, with the intent of setting the stage for furthering collaboration, leveraging the academic capabilities in educational and research realms in agreed areas, and promoting a common discourse in relevant fields of studies, Insurance Research Center (IRC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the University of Science and Culture.

In the MOU-signing ceremony, Dr. Mohammad Mahdi Asgari, CEO of IRC, Dr. Mahdi Basouli, President of the University of Science and Culture and some of the high officials of both parties participated and discussed the prospects for the mutual cooperation.

In this meeting, the CEO of IRC paid a visit to the research departments, scientific and technological facilities, National Science Park, and cultural artifacts of the University of Science and Culture.

It must be noted that based on the signed MOU, both academic entities are committed to engage in the following agreed practices: Developing and implementing relevant research projects; Forming expert circles, professional and consultancy desks, and information exchange groups; Developing and conducting joint local and international training, professional, and specialized courses; Publishing books, papers, journals, and special editions; Authoring, editing, and translating professional sources, books, academic documents, and research project reports; Collaborating in master's theses and doctoral dissertations; Exchange of facilities, statistics, and data; Supporting in media affairs, information exchange and dissemination of information; Leveraging each other’s research, educational, promotional, academic, executive, technical, and professional capacities; conducting academic events, professional expos, academic festivals and et cetera; Introducing professors, specialists, experts and researchers to attend scientific conferences, professional meetings and the like; Supporting sabbatical leaves of the parties’ faculty members; Participation in developing and holding professional, general and specialized exams related to insurance and other subjects; Developing internships and apprenticeships programs; Sharing experiences in the fields of software and hardware, documentation, human resource management, and organizational management; and Supporting and providing advices regarding the development and implementation of new insurance products, Islamic financial, takaful and retakaful products.
