IRC Signed MOU with Iranian Pooshesh Company
On Saturday, January 4, 2025, Dr. Leili Niakan, Director General of Insurance Research Center (IRC) and some of the IRC high officials visited Iranian Pooshesh Company and signed Memorandum of Understanding on mutual interests.

In this meeting, initially, Dr. Seyed Mohammad Karimi, Chairman of the Board of Iranian Pooshesh Company, presented an overview of his affiliated company and highlighted the significance of ‘assessment’ both for risks and losses in the insurance value chain. 

“Iranian Pooshesh Company has a branch in each province in the country and at the time being, three thousand professionals work with the company.” he added, “So far, by leveraging the expertise of our specialists, the company has developed 50 insurance sofwares in the fields of risk assessment, loss adjustment, and other insurance processes and continuously strives to develop, examine, formulate, and offer insurance products.”

Dr. Riahifar, CEO of Iranian Pooshesh Company also welcomed IRC delegates and stated: “The Company has acceptable facilities and can engage with IRC and make a synergy in strategic points.”

“The company has some facilities for content creation and media services that together with IRC, can engage in worthy activities within the industry.”

In this visit, Dr. Niakan, Director General of IRC, appreciated the activities of Iranian Pooshesh Company and said: “The Company has hardworking staff so that it has performed in several fronts.”

“IRC can be considered as the think tank of this company and can engage in its strategic plans in conducting small and mega research projects.” She added, “IRC has a risk lab; it can be helpful for the Iranian Pooshesh Company in the field of risk assessment.”

At the end of the visit, the two entities signed an MOU for furthering their cooperation in the executive, academic, research, and media realms.
