According to the IRC's Public Relations and International Affairs Office, Dr. Khazaei was accompanied by a delegation from the ICC and held discussions with Dr. Leili Niakan, Director General of the Insurance Research Center, along with faculty members and staff of the Center.
During the visit, Dr. Khazaei was briefed on the IRC’s academic and research activities and praised its contributions to Iran’s insurance ecosystem. He expressed his satisfaction with the visit, describing the ICC as a strategic instrument for advancing international economic relations, and emphasized the pivotal role of the insurance industry as a driving force behind this instrument.
Dr. Khazaei also proposed initiatives to enhance bilateral collaboration between the ICC and IRC, particularly in engaging with international institutions focused on insurance and risk management.
In the same session, Dr. Mazloumi, Chair of the Insurance Commission of the ICC and Head of the IRC’s International Affairs Task Force, underscored the essential role of cross-border cooperation in the advancement of the insurance sector. “Insurance is, by nature, an international industry,” he noted. “Expanding global connectivity is essential to fulfilling its core mission—the effective distribution of risk at a global scale.”
