Aryamanesh: Professional Service Must Be Driven by Dedication and a Sense of Responsibility
In a ceremony marking Employee Day, held in conjunction with the auspicious commemorations of the births of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq (PBUH), the Insurance Research Center (IRC) convened its leadership, faculty, and staff to honor exemplary employees and long-standing veteran colleagues. Amidst a backdrop of professional recognition—symbolized by personal letters of appreciation individually signed by the Director General—Mohammad Aryamanesh, Director General of the IRC, delivered a keynote address emphasizing the critical necessity of fostering a culture of labor, service, and institutional accountability within the organizational environment.

According to a report from the IRC Public Relations Office, Aryamanesh extended his congratulations on the occasion of Employee Day and the upcoming religious holidays, while underscoring the profound importance of strengthening the ethos of work and service. Referencing the religious precedents established by the Prophet and the Imams regarding the sanctity of labor, he asserted that every individual should view their professional presence as an opportunity for service, pursuing their duties with passion, interest, and a heightened sense of duty. He further noted that the nation currently requires a spirit of diligence and sincere service more than ever, suggesting that every individual, regardless of their specific role, possesses the capacity to contribute significantly to national progress.

Emphasizing the imperative of investing in human capital and cultivating employee motivation, the Director General of the IRC stated that the current management era will place a heightened focus on meritocracy, talent, and the recognition of overlooked individuals. He committed to creating frameworks that facilitate the growth and flourishing of the professional capacities of both staff and faculty members. Furthermore, addressing recent transformations within the insurance sector, Aryamanesh highlighted the strategic role of the IRC in providing the scientific and academic support necessary for the industry’s new policy frameworks. He affirmed that by leveraging its scientific and research capabilities, the IRC remains closely aligned with the policies of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance and the Central Insurance of the Islamic Republic of Iran (CII), and will resolutely pursue all necessary scientific backing required by the insurance industry.

In a separate segment of his remarks, Aryamanesh commended the institute’s staff for their contributions to technological implementation, citing the design and deployment of the “Tisphon” system and the automated machine-learning system for risk coefficient estimation and calculation as prime examples of the IRC’s human resource capabilities. He further stressed that it is the fundamental responsibility of management to identify, value, and support the performance and efforts of personnel. He argued that leadership must recognize the existing capacities, competencies, and talents among faculty and staff, and by providing motivation and fostering growth environments, ensure these capabilities are harnessed to achieve the institute’s strategic objectives.

The ceremony concluded with the formal recognition of exemplary employees and the honoring of veteran colleagues for their long-standing service. A particularly notable aspect of this year’s selection was that the choice of “exemplary employee” was not the result of an external or top-down appointment process, but rather a direct reflection of the staff’s collective trust—a transparent, peer-driven nomination that validated the moral and professional excellence of the honorees. Each honoree received a personally signed letter of appreciation from the Director General, recognizing their “sincere and constructive presence” as a distinct manifestation of competence and devotion within the IRC. Additionally, the official Code of Ethics of the IRC was formally unveiled during the proceedings. The event, attended by a distinguished group of managers, faculty, and staff, served as both a commendation of professional service and a reaffirmation of the central role of human resources in advancing the mission of the IRC.
