IRC Signed MOU with Imam Sadiq University
On Tuesday June 11, 2024, with the purpose of setting the stage for furthering collaboration, mutual utilization of the academic capabilities in educational and research realms, and promoting a common discourse in relevant fields of studies, Insurance Research Center (IRC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Imam Sadiq University.

According to PRIAO-IRC, in the MOU signing event, Dr. Mohammad Mahdi Asgari, CEO of IRC and Dr. Asqar Iftikhari, President of Imam Sadiq University and some of the senior managers of both parties participated and discussed about the relevant issues.

Based on the MOU, both parties are committed to engage in the following agreed practices:

  1. Developing and implementing relevant research projects;
  2. Forming expert circles, think tank boards, professional desks, information exchange groups, and elite meeting;
  3. Developing and conducting academic events such as conferences, seminars, lectures, forums, and etc., training courses, internships, apprenticeships and other relevant academic national and international activities;
  4. Publishing books, papers, journals, and special editions;
  5. Authoring, editing, and translating professional sources, books, and academic documents;
  6. Cooperating and planning for the exchange of scientific documents, statistics and required data within the limits of the regulations of the parties;
  7. Advising, collaborating and participating in master's theses and doctoral dissertations;
  8. Using the maximum capacity of university think tanks and, if necessary, establishing a joint think tank to conduct relevant interdisciplinary studies;
  9. Paving the way for the development of the academic fields and subfields, as well as obtaining permission to establish humanities fields in postgraduate levels;
  10. Using facilities and databases of the parties based on the parties’ rules and regulations;
  11. Fostering the cooperation of the public relations units of the parties in media affairs, information exchange and dissemination of information;
  12. Introducing professors, specialists, experts and researchers to attend scientific conferences, professional meetings and the like;
  13. Supporting sabbatical leaves of the parties’ faculty members;
  14. Participation in developing and holding professional, general and specialized exams related to insurance and other subjects;
  15. Sharing experiences in the fields of software and hardware, documentation, human resource management, and organizational management;
  16. Supporting and providing advices regarding the development and implementation of new insurance products, Islamic financial, takaful and retakaful products;
  17. Creating a platform to support creative and innovative ideas;
  18. Facilitating the use of the research department capacities and employing university students in alternative projects or alternative civilian service; and
  19. Leveraging the post-doctoral capacities in order to meet the scientific needs and to develop professional human resources.
