In this virtual meeting, Dr. Mohammad Mahdi Asgari, CEO of IRC, Mr. Shahzad Farooq Lodhi, CEO of PII, Mr. Ather Rehat Siddiqui, Executive Director of PII and some of the senior officials of both entities had participated.

The CEO of IRC, in his speech, introduced IRC and its activities and latest developments, presented an overview of the previous academic cooperation with other Pakistani academic institutions, announced the ICID annual event to be held by IRC in coming December and invited PII officials to participate in the event backed with IRC’s full support, and highlighted the requirement of forging international relationship with relevant academic institutes across the globe.  

In their speech, the PII senior managers welcomed to foster any relevant cooperation with IRC especially with regard to joint training programs and international examinations.

It must be noted that the Pakistan Insurance Institute (PII) was set up in 1951 by the insurance fraternity of Pakistan with the intent of promoting educational and knowledge sharing activities in the field of insurance. In 1953, PII was affiliated with the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), London and commenced conducting Associateship and Fellowship examination of the CII. In 1971, PII was incorporated as a registered company.
